Our Christmas is not going as planned. As with life, it seems to happen a lot.There are many things that can throw life off course, sometimes by a little and sometimes by a lot.
When life goes off course, I think of one of my favorite Jimmy Buffett songs:

As I sit here, my daughter has a fever for the 6th day in a row, which crosses Christmas with the extended family off our agenda today, I think of Jimmy and I’m making other plans. It’s pouring down rain with snow in the forecast, so I’m thinking maybe a nap.

We’ve been battling a remarkably flu like virus and an ear-infection. Christmas was spent in pajamas with ibuprophen. I hope you and Jake had a great one. Happy New Year!
